Since 2017, we have been organizing The Canoe Trip here, and over the years, we have built a wealth of experience. It truly is – in our opinion – the most beautiful canoeing area in Europe.

During booking, you can choose a Survival Foodpack. There is a meat variant and a vegetarian variant*. This will allow you to prepare easy and nutritious meals during the canoe trip. The foodpack includes 3 main meals per day and snacks. You can find an example of last year's foodpack here.
We'll also provide you with a Trangia cooking set to prepare the meals. This set includes:

During the canoe trip, you will sleep in locations surrounded by nature. You can choose the most beautiful camping spot every day, on a private island or hidden in the forest, as wild camping is allowed in Sweden.
In the Canoe Trip app, you will find all the shelters where you can enjoy a campfire and meet fellow travelers. You will always find a dry toilet there as well.
On the last night of your trip, you will sleep at the basecamp, where you will have access to a toilet and a hot shower.
Need camping equipment? You can easily rent it from us! For every 2 people, you will receive 1 tent, 2 sleeping bags, 2 liners, and 2 sleeping mats.
All the canoeing gear you'll need for the trip will be provided by us. Curious about what you need to bring yourself? We've put together a packing list that includes all the must-haves for your adventure.
It's important that you don't bring too much luggage, as everything needs to fit in the canoe. The less you bring, the easier both canoeing and land transport will be. A weight of up to 20kg per person is ideal!

Parking costs €70 for a week. Keep in mind about €370 for fuel costs for the trip to Sweden. Gasoline costs will depend on your car model.

You will arrive at the base camp in Sweden on Wednesday morning. The departure from our base camp back home is the following week on Wednesday evening. The bus will return on Thursday in the late afternoon or evening.
Note: The exact departure time back home can only be determined on the day of departure. This depends on the bus's arrival time in the morning. The drivers have mandatory rest periods during the day, so they can bring you back home fresh and well-rested in the evening.

You will arrive at the base camp in Sweden on Saturday morning. The departure from our base camp back home is the following Saturday evening. The bus will arrive back on Sunday late afternoon or in the evening.
Note: the exact departure time back home can only be determined on the day of departure. This depends on the arrival time of the bus in the morning, which is influenced by traffic and weather conditions on the way. The bus drivers are required to take a daytime rest, so they can bring you back home fresh and well-rested in the evening.

If you want to come to Sweden with your own car, that's totally fine. You can park your car at the basecamp, and a parking ticket for a week costs €70. You can find the address here.
The best routes:
Take the ferry in Puttgarden or the Storebælt Bridge to Denmark. You can buy tickets for these crossings online or on-site. Then, travel via the Øresund Bridge from Denmark to Sweden. You can purchase a ticket on-site at the toll booths or through this link.
Keep in mind about €190 - €330 in extra costs for the ferry/bridge and tolls.

Want to travel to Sweden as quickly and efficiently as possible? Then book your trip including flights and airport shuttle. You can choose from flights from Amsterdam or Brussels.
The shuttle will take you at 13:00 from Oslo Gardermoen to the base camp, where you'll get a briefing the same day and can hit the water. On the return, the shuttle will drop you off at the airport at 12:30.

If you choose to travel by plane, please book your own flight tickets from the airport of your choice.
We provide an airport shuttle service from Oslo Gardermoen Airport, which will take you directly to the basecamp in approximately 2.5 hours and drop you off at the airport again after one week for your return flight home.
